Eminent Bollywood actor and filmmaker Aamir Khan, who has worked with Rajkumar Hirani in 3 IDIOTS and PK was the first to rush to the hospital and enquire about his health.

Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospita told media that when Raju Hirani was brought to the hospital he was profusely bleeding from his ears hence the doctors rushed him into the ICU section suspecting a lethal accident. “We were worried about his internal brain hemorrhage however on meticulous observation we found the brain was safe and unhurt. It was his jaw that had fractured and he had some cuts on his face,” informed Dr Jalil Parkar

Dr. Parker added, “We performed minor surgery and have asked him for rest. He is fast recuperating and will be discharged soon.”

Mean while Aamir Khan who met the filmmaker at Lilavati Hospital cleared all the rumors that were circulating in media and social network.

Akshay Kumar: No actor can replace Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra in SHOLAY

The badshah of action Akshay Kumar candidly acknowledged that no actor can ever replace the histrionics of Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra in SHOLAY.

Akshay Kumar who is traveling these days, promoting his upcoming film BROTHERS, at a press conference in Delhi recollecting his memories about SHOLAY candidly confessed, “I don’t think anyone should ever try and remake the classic. It will be complete injustice to the film as it is impossible to re-create the genius of Sippy sir.”

On being quizzed if he is offered to play a part in SHOLAY, which role from Amitabh Bachchan or Dharmendra’s character he would select, Khiladi Kumar said, “The roles played by Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra are so fantastic that I think no actor can match up their histrionics.”

We agree because each actor in SHOLAY has played his character so brilliantly that no actor can repeat their performance. Even cameos by famous comedians like Jagdeep as Surma Bhopali and Asrani as the angreez ke zammane ka jailor became instant hit. What is amazing is that even miniature roles like the dacoits Kaliya or Sambha have become immortal.

Though time and again there have many duplicates of SHOLAY but none could create the magic of Ramesh Sippy SHOLAY.

Who can forget RAM GOPAL VERMA KI AAG which ace film director Ram Gopal Verma attempted in 2007.

His idea of the contemporary version of SHOLAY with Amitabh Bachchan playing the key character of Gabbar Singh and South’s Mega Star Mohanlal playing the central character of Sanjeev Kumar went for a toss on day at the box office proving nobody can remake SHOLAY.

Even Amitabh BNachchan had repented after working in RAM GOPAL VERMA KI AAG. In an interview Bachchan had confided, “I personally acknowledge that acting in SHOLAY'S remake was a mistake. I should not have acted in the remake of my own film because a classic cannot be plagiarized.”
