MR. INDIA 2 a reality! Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor to play lead in the sequel

With the huge public demand for the sequel of MR.INDIA the latest news is that Bonney Kapoor has decided to cast Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the sequel MR. INDIA 2.

Besides Harshvardhan Kapoor, the movie will also stars its original pair Anil Kapoor and Sridevi.

It may be noted Harshvardhan Kapoor is making his debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's MIRZIYA based on the historical folk lore similar to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s BAJIRAO MASTANI.

The promos of the film are already out and Harshvardhan Kapoor is drawing rave reviews about his brilliant debut. Interestingly like Ranveer Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor plays a warrior in the film and is being applauded as par with Ranveer Kapoor.

And that’s not all, even before MIRZIYA releases Harshvardhan Kapoor has already started making waves in the film fraternity. The young actor, who has returned from America after studying screenplay writing and acting and has the experience of being assistant to distinguished film maker Anurag Kashyap's BOMBAY VELVET, is thus a great competitor to contemporary young stars.

In fact he has already given a tough time to Bollywood’s latest heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra as he has replaced him in the forthcoming superhero flick BHAVESH JOSHI, in which he plays a Gujarati Superhero on a mission to fight corruption.

KILLING VEERAPPAN declared a hit! Police officers and Politicians from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu thronging cinema hall! What’s so special?

Eminent filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma is back in news and this time for good reasons as his Kannada film KILLING VEERAPPAN is drawing both critical applause and commercial success thanks to the word of mouth publicity by viewers.

According to Trade pundits the movie is super duper hit as it has amassed a whopping over Rs 12 crore in the first three days across Karnataka. A rare feat for a Kannada film without any major star cast!

The movie is reported to be such a big hit that even top notch police officers and political heavyweights from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are rushing to watch the film as the film brilliantly exposes the untold secrets about Special Task Forces (STF) famous Operation Cocoon that compelled the hardcore sandalwood smuggler Veerappan to come out from his den located in dense forest of South India.

Elated at the success of the film Ram Gopal Verma, popularly known as RGV said, “I must credit the success of the film to its brilliant script because unlike the popular myths surrounding the death of Veerappan my film explores complete diverse yet authentic details about the killing of Veerappan.”

He adds, “The highlight of the film is the tight and razor sharp screenplay that explores how the Operation Cocoon was craftily executed by the STF forces that forced Veerappan to emerge out from his hide out. The entire operation is edge of the seat thriller that leaves the viewers dumbfounded!”

What makes RGV proud is that the movie has broken the traditional norms of the film industry as it is without the customary hero-heroine singing songs round the tress, a six pack hero fighting an evil looking villain or melodramatic family tear jerker and the surplus doze of comedy.

RGV says, “I am more than happy for my film because the film has become a commercial success without the success formula of commercial films and this is my greatest triumph!”

Though the Telugu and Tamil versions of the movie have been delayed but the filmmaker is confident to release them shortly. Meanwhile there is huge demand to release the Hindi version soon hence RGV is working on its dubbing and plans to release at the earliest.
