Brand ambassador for United Nations’ the 'Girl Child', Amitabh Bachchan wishing Happy Daughter's Week asked parents not to consider daughters as ‘Tension’ but be proud of daughters because in today’s hectic world when everybody is in a hurry, the only saving grace are daughters who despite problems, are always close to their parents.

In Bachchan’s recent movie PIKU, viewers have seen how Deepika Padukone, plays a modern day independent daughter but despite all obstacles takes care of her ailing father till his end.

Like Amitabh Bachchan other Bollywood celebs too go gaga over their daughter. Action king Sunil Shetty, whose daughter, Athiya Shetty is making her debut in Salman Khan Production’s HERO has such faith in the talent of her loving daughter that he says, “I wished to be called as Athiya’s father.”

Though Akshay Kumar is protective about his daughter Nitara and hides her from paparazzi, Shah Rukh Khan is seen with his daughter Suhana at important occasion. Likewise Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha is daring and candid. The pair has been spotted posing for cute pictures several times.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt may have not made any film with his cute and bubbly daughter Alia Bhatt but the duo share a jovial relation.

Another Bollywood actor who shares a friendly relation with his daughters is Arjun Rampal, who on the Friendship Day posed for a special photo shoot with his teenage daughters for a cause. Abhishek Bachchan adores his daughter Aaradhya so much that when someone posted an offensive comment on Twitter Abhishek got so angry on him that the poor person had to delete his post.

In nutshell the days are changing at least in cities where parents have began equaling girls with boys and hope a day will come soon when girls born in India will not be consider as curse but as BOON!!!
