AN ODE TO REMEMBER – PART 2

A family's contribution in term's of what they do for the cinema industry is always amazing. But when it passes on from one generation to another and now pushing to the third generation, it is amazing to note their dedication running through and through. Or rather, the love for the art passing on from one generation to the other.

If you just thought of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan, then you are absolutely right. He entered the film industry in the early 1950's. One actor who has donned the hat of various dominating roles, Sivaji was always known for his expressions that literally turned out to be the soul of the movie. Sivaji was also known for his spontaneous acting talent which saved the trouble for many directors to teah him how to express which usually was done to all the other actors. The actor got himself a title and ofcourse is a recipient of many prestigious awards.

The Infamous Rivalry Between Ranveer Singh And Arjun Kapoor

This song from Raj Kapoor’s hit movie suits aptly to describe the rivalry that has erupted between Bollywood’s two young and dynamic actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.

According to grapevine the two stars who recently stared together in GUNDAY have developed difference and have declined to shoot a commercial in which the two were suppose to share screen space together.

According to a source the two have made life hell for the producers of the commercial as one has flown to Turkey while the other has gone to Europe. Left in a crunch the producers have decided to shoot the commercial in parts canning their parts individually and then digitally mixing the two parts to get the desired impact.

According to the makers of the commercial the clash between the two actors is over grabbing more footage and better lines. However insiders claim the duo has been at logger head since 2012 when Arjun Kapoor tried to woo Ranveer’s girl friend Anushka Sharma thus hurting his ego.

Interestingly the duo gave a fantastic glimpse of their friendship during Karan Johar's chat show Coffee with Karan. However the fact is the two cunningly fooled the viewers because they only pretended to be friends when the camera was on and the movement it was switched off they parted away without speaking to each other.

Rivalry between stars is nothing new in film fraternity. From the great Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar rivalry in the 60’s to the Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha rivalry in the 70’s to the Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi rivalry in the 80’s and the Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan rivalry in the present era Bollywood is packed with umpteen tales.

Besides Bollywood South Indian film industry is no exception. The prominent rivalry that have made headlines include MGR versus Sivaji Ganeshan, Mohanlal and Mammootty, Kamal Hassan-Rajinikanth Kamal etc.
