If
you loved Illayaraaja’s voice, you will ofcourse relate to this youngster’s
voice as well. Wondering why we are telling you this? Well it is because we are
talking about our Maestro’s son and well the geniusness in his music can also
be seen. Raaga.com gives to you a quick look back at Karthik Raaja hits.
Karthikraaja
started his career in music way back in 1996 with the movie Maanickam. What bought Karthik to get noticed
in the crowd was ofcourse Ulaasam which hit the theatres in 1997. The song
‘Veesum kaatrukku’ from the movies is the best out of the album ofcourse.
Karthikraaja
has worked in Hindi too in albums namely Meri Jaan Hindustan, Haule Haule
etc. Even in 2008 he composed for
Mukhbir in Hindi. Kaarthikraaja has also been roped in for Kannada films in his
early career stage.
In
the mid 2000’s Kaarthikraaja’s ‘Kudaikkul mazhai’ became a mass hit amongst the
audienceand ‘Adiye’ emerged as the favourite track for all. 2006 was
comparatively a bright year for kaarthikraaja as mercury pookal’s sound tracks
was welcomed pretty well by the audience.
A
classic hit of Kaathikraaja would ofcourse be his album ‘Pudhiya geethai’
starring our wonderful Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay as the hero and the best track
that we would give a high rank to is ‘Vasiyakaara vasiyakaara’ which did have a
different sound to it and deviated our attention from something very normal.
Kudos to Kaarthik raja for that ofcourse.
Well
in the last recent years, there has not been many releases for Kaarthikraaja
after Achamundu Achamundu starring Prassanna and Sneha which released in the
year 2009.Raaga.com wishes tosee many different tracks form this music director
in the coming year.
Considering this is the month of love, it is also the time to
celebrate the ‘love’ that we see in every friendship! For many of us there is
at least that one friend whom we share everything with. Here is a quick look at
few wonderful songs in Bollywood that best define this beautiful bond.
Rewinding back to the golden era of cinema when movies like Sholay
released, we cannot afford to mention one song. Well yes – ‘Yeh Dosti ham nahi
todenge’ stands immortal and on top of our playlist. Likewise the movie
‘Yaarana’ which released in almost the same era, we see Amjad khan and AmitabhBachchan sharing a mutual respect for each other and the best listen from this
movie would be ‘Tere jaisa yaar kahaan’.
Friendship always brings out that beautiful feeling of comfort,
respect, understanding that one has for the other. Even if they go without
talking for a week it feels like years! With Dil Chahtha hai’s title song, we
cannot agree more about how ‘friends’ play a major role in understanding what
every heart wants.Other new age movie portraying the value of friendship would
be ‘Jaane nahi denge tujhe’ from 3 Idiots. Movies like Zindagi na milegi
dobaara’ does not fail to rekindle the fact that wonderful friendships last for
a lifetime and also give you those ‘best memories’ of your life. The title
track of the movie ‘Rock on’ is also beautiful listen.
Another classy friendship song is ‘Mustafa Mustafa’ from Duniya
Dilwalon Ki which has remained eternal in our hearts and has also managed to
top the playlist even in a college scenario during the time of a farewell etc.
