Sanjay Dutt deceives Yerawada Central Jail Authorities, Yet Again!

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has proved why is Bollywood top notch actor! Don’t believe! Read On…

Sanjay Dutt, who is serving jail term in Yerawada Central Jail in Pune, for illegal possession and destruction of an AK-56 army assault rifle during the 1993 serial bomb blasts in the city, has been known for extending his furlough and making the mockery of the law. In fact in February 2014, even the Bombay High Court has commented on the diligence in granting the actor's requests for furlough which was not visible in case of other convicts who applied for leave.

However despite sharp criticism from every corner of the country, the actor has yet again deceived the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune and succeeded in extending his leave, though this time in a typical filmy style!

According to reports the actor on Thursday reached the Yerawada Central jail like a Good Samaritan to serve the remainder of his term after 14-day-long furlough ended as he did not get any response to his request for an extension from jail authorities.

The news was welcomed and it sent roars of applause among the legal experts and the others who condemned his release as a special treatment meted out the superstar.

However the joys of his critics was short lived as the actor cunning enacted a well scripted drama of surrendering on time like law abiding citizen and then after spending a hour in the jail premises he returned home on the accuse that the government official are yet to take a decision on his application for extension of his furlough and till the decision is not taken he need not be in jail!!!

Briefing the media about the sudden turn around Sanjay Dutt's lawyer Subhash Jadhav, glorifying Sanjay Dutt as a law-abiding citizen said, “My client returned to jail with complete sincerity but senior prison officials said he need not surrender till his application for extension was pending!!!”

To mark the 75th birthday of the genius singer K.J. Yesudas a day-long music concert will be held at Sri Kollur Mookambika Temple, the holy temple where Yesudas annually seeks the blessing of the presiding deity over the past several decades.

While Yesudas is not less than a Demi God in South, In Bollywood too he left a similar imprint that shall remain immortal for generations to come. What makes Yesudas’s dominance in Bollywood noteworthy is the fact that when he made his entry in the mid 70’s the Bollywood music was at its downfall, with eminent music legends like Naushad, Shanker Jaikishen, S.D.Burman, Madan Mohan either having left the world or had taken retirement.

It was during this phase Yesudas’s melodious voice that was as sweet as honey and as silky like satin made its resonance and won the hearts of music lovers. The credit for discovering Yesudas into Bollywood goes to the versatile music director Salil Chowdhury for the film ANAND MAHAL. The song was the super hit classical number Ni Sa Ga Ma Pa Ni Sa Re Ga, Aa Aa Re Mitawa, Janam Janam Se hain Hum to Pyaase, Aa Sang Mere Gaa….

However his real talent was nurtured by Ravindra Jain in Bollywood, who offered him many super hit songs like Aaj Se Pehle... and Jab Deep Jale Aana Jab - CHITCHOR (1976), Aa inn nazaron ko tum dekho aur mein tumhe...; - SUNAYANA (1979); Khushiya Hi Khushiya Ho Daaman - DULHAN WOHI JO PIYA MAN BHAYE (1977) etc. the list is long.

Readers would be surprised to know that Ravindra Jain, the blind music director, was so much in awe of Yesudas that he had confessed that if he ever happened to regain vision, the first person he would like to see was Yesudas!!!
