Superstar Chiranjeevi's 60th birthday celebration - A star studded gala night!

Superstar turned politician Chiranjeevi's 60th birthday celebration turned out to be a star studded gala night with top notch celebrities from both South and Bollywood rubbing shoulders to wish the legendary actor birthday greetings. 

The birthday celebration was held at Hyderabad’s posh Park Hyatt 5-star hotel on Saturday. 

The birthday bash witnessed top Bollywood celebrities making their presence. From Bollywood the list of actors who graced the occasion included BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN aka Salman Khan, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and mother Jaya Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Vivek Oberoi and his wife Priyanka Alva etc.


From South the entire film industry’s big guns attended the birthday bash ranging from veterans like Kamal Haasan, filmmaker K. Viswanath, Jaya Prada, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, his son Naga Chaitanya. From the present lot of actors, sensations stars like Mohan Babu, Dagubatti Venkatesh, Rana Dagubatti, Charmee attended the party to wish the star on his milestone birthday.

Popular southern film heroines such as Tamannaah Bhatia, Taapsee Pannu along with her boyfriend Mathias Boe, Kajal Aggarwal, Trisha Krishnan and Ileana D'Cruz attended the party 

The guest list also included three mega stars of Indian film industry viz. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth but the trio could not make it. 

The major attraction of the birthday bash was the presence of Chiranjeevi's younger brother and Telugu star Pawan Kalyan, who had differences with his brother over political issues, but keeping aside the differences, he wished his elder brother and made the atmosphere adorable.


The presence of political heavy weights like noted BJP Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, T. Subbarami Reddy and K.T. Rama Rao added political tinge to the birthday bash. 

The evening turned nostalgic when eminent actresses such as Sridevi, Jaya Prada, Radha, Tabu, Khushbhu and Suhasini shared their experiences working with the superstar, who completes 35 years in Indian cinema and will be soon doing his 150 film. 

The event was made entertaining by exhilarating dance performances by Shiamak Davar's dance troupe. Salman Khan added glitter to the evening by dancing on the famous dance number "Daddy Mummy".

To add cherry on the cake the guest were treated to Chiranjeevi’s favorite dishes, ‘Chiranjeevi Dosa’! 

Chiranjeevi's actor son Ram Charan Teja and his wife Upasna played the perfect hosts.


Wanna guess what’s common between Aamir Khan and Mahesh Babu?

On acting fronts and stardom rank both, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and South superstar Mahesh Babu are at par, but there is one more thing that the two mega stars share. Any guess? Well both are golden hearted and benevolent. 

A picture of this can be gauged from the fact that ever since Mahesh Babu’s latest Telugu hit film SRIMANTHUDU won rave reviews, particularly, film buffs going gaga over Mahesh Babu’s sensitive portrayal of a youth going all out to solve the tribulations of a village, Mahesh Babu has been overwhelmed by his fan’s adore.

In fact the emotional content of the movie has moved Mahesh Babu so much that he has pledged to adopt a village and in reality become a savior as he did in the film SRIMANTHUDU.


According to latest news Mahesh Babu, who had earlier expressed his wish to adopt a village has finalized to adopt two backward villages called Chinthalakunta village of Gattu mandal in Mahbubnagar in Telangana and Burripalem in Guntur of Andra Pradesh (AP).

According to sources Mahesh Babu will be visiting Chinthalakunta village on August 29 along with IT and Panchayat Raj minister KT Rama Rao.

Reports suggests Mahesh Babu has adopted these villages as per Telangana Chief Minister KCR initiated 'Grama Jyothi' Programme and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu initiated 'Smart Village' programme. 

Like Mahesh Babu, Aamir Khan too has come forward to help the villagers of Maharashtra, who facing a hard time due lack of water. Reports claims a total of 6,202 villages in six districts are drought-affected.

Hence to help the drought-affected farmers of Maharashtra, Aamir Khan has donated Rs 11 lakh to the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ rural water conservation programme, Jalayukta Shivaar Abhiyaan.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ has applauded Aamir Khan’s support. In a statement CM said, “I appreciate Mr Khan's support to the mission which will help us mitigate drought situation in affected areas. His gesture will go a long way and encourage resourceful people and institutes to contribute to our sincere cause,” 

Besides helping monetarily it’s reported Aamir Khan has also promised to create a lot of public awareness for the water conservation mission.
