Kangana Ranaut completes 10 years in the industry

The queen of Bollywood- Kangana Ranaut completes 10 years in the industry today and she feels extremely happy and proud to have made a career in Bollywood on her own. Kangana says she enjoys being an underdog in the film industry. Recently at an interview, she said: "I am extremely proud of my rags to riches story, it's fun to be a misfit or an underdog if you acknowledge your gifts and befriend your obstacles."


Kangana made her debut with film 'Gangster' that released in 2006, in which she played a troubled woman in love with a gangster. She rose to fame with movies like, 'Woh Lamhe', 'Life in a Metro' and 'Fashion' the movie that gave her first National Award. Her second National Award came along for her inspirational drama movie 'Queen' for which she rightly deserved. This movie was not only a box-office success but from then on Kangana became the highest paid actress in B-Town. Kangana recently received her third National Award for the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ which truly proved that you don’t always need an actor in the film.

On career basis, Kangana will soon be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon', Hansal Mehta's 'Simran' and biopic by filmmaker Ketan Mehta on Rani Lakshmibai. Way to go girl...we are so proud of you!!!
