In
a shocking revelation the Income Tax raid on South Superstar Vijay has exposed
that the PULI star has not paid his Income Tax for nearly five years!
Reports
from the IT department also revealed that others film stars like Samantha and
Nayanthara have evaded tax to the tune of nearly Rs 25 crore.
It
may be noted that Vijay is the highest paid actor and has a huge fan following in
Tamil and Malayalam cinema. According to reports he had charged a whopping Rs
20 crore for PULI and if rumors are to believed than for his next upcoming film
VIJAY 59, directed by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, he has charged an exorbitant fee of Rs
30 crore, which is next to the Greatest Superstar of South Cinema Mr.
Rajinikanth!
The
IT officials briefing media said, “Most of the film stars and film producers
misguide the IT department by paying partial amount and evading major amount.”
Interestingly
while the IT department revealed that actresses Nayanthara, and Samantha have
not paid tax for two years, Samantha's father has denied reports stating that
his daughter has evaded tax and stressed that she has paid all her Income Tax.
Samantha
is Numero Uno actress of South Cinema and charges a massive Rs 1 crore per
film.
