Primary post mortem report reveals famous singer Labh Janjua died of heart attack

The sudden death of celebrated Bollywood and Punjabi singer Labh Janjua has taken Bollywood by surprise. Though the exact cause of his death is yet to be discovered but according to doctors the primary post mortem reports reveal that Janjua had been suffering from multiple aliments like diabetes, asthma and heart disease. Hence the doctors believe Janjua could be victim of heart attack. 

According to senior forensic experts of Bhagwati Post Mortem Centre there are no signs of suicide or assault hence there is a probability of natural death. An expert confirmed, “Prima facie, it looks like a natural death.”

Mourning the death of Labh Janjua eminent playback singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Shaan both were left dumbfounded at his sudden demise. In their respective tweets both tweeted, ‘Shocked to hear about Labh Janjua’s untimely demise… Life is so uncertain … RIP!’


A popular Punjabi singer from Khanna, near Ludhiana, Labh had struggled over two decades to make his presence. He came to fame when his Punjabi song ‘Mundeyan ton bach ke rahin…….’ was included in Bollywood film BOOM staring in Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan. Though the film failed but the song became super hit and Labh Janjua became popular. 

Later, he was noticed by Yash Raj Films and his song ‘Chance pe dance….’ (RAB NE BANA DI JODI) made him a star. 

Soon hit songs like ‘Soni de nakhre…’ (PARTNER), ‘Chu chan….’ (SINGH IS BLINGG), ‘O bhape pyar karke…. (PYAR KE SIDE EFFECTS) established Labh Janjua for his Punjabi-bhangra style singing.

Recently, his track ‘London Thumakda….’ from the super-hit film ‘QUEEN’ caught the fancy of music lovers at home and beyond.
