Amidst rumors of Bollywood most cherished couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina getting engaged on July 16, 2015 at Katrina Kaif’s 32nd birthday in a private affair at their Alibaug farmhouse, the latest buzz is that Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Film is planning to rope in the duo for his next romantic film.
According to sources Aditya Chopra is planning a romantic comedy with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif and is also eager on casting Varnu Dhanwan as second lead.
The source said, “The movie is in its initial stages of scripting and it’s true that Adi is keen on signing Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif as the duo have a track of hit films in the past like AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI (2009) and RAAJNEETI (2010).
However what is worth pondering is that Ranbir and Kat, who after the reported ‘Engagement’, visited London to take the blessing of Kat’s parents, decide to marry then, things will go astray for Aditya Chopra because history has it that film buffs have always discarded Bollywood couples after their marriage –Remember the famous couples like Dilip Kumar –Saira Banu or Dharmendra – Hema Malini Jodi!
In addition Anurag Basu's JAGGA JASOOS, which is in pipeline since many years but being delayed due to unavoidable circumstances, will also land in problem, in case the duo decide to marriage (and the chances are looking glimmer) .
In such a scenario, it would be better Ranbir and Katrina keep their marriage ‘guarded’ as they have been ‘cleverly covering’ their romance and the reported ‘Engagement’!
