The hoax news about thespian Dilip Kumar’s death once again went viral on WhatsApp sending shock waves among millions of Dilip Kumar’s fans!

What is most disturbing about such hoax news is that these news not only hurt the sentiments of the celebrity targeted but it creates havoc for the family to handle anxious calls from well wishers.

A close look at the massage that went viral and generated panic among Dilip Kumar fans reveals that it is a work of mischief maker, who is poor at English language. Check out its grammar. Nevertheless what is painful is that such messages have become nuisance and must be made a punishable offence.

Readers may recollect in recent years there have been multiple cases of fake news surrounding the deaths of Bollywood celebrities. Salman Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Kader Khan and more recently Shakti Kapoor are among the many others, who have been the targets of death hoax in virtual world.

As regards, Dilip Kumar, this not the first time when such hoax news went viral. In fact in the past there have been several instances. In one instance Amitabh Bachchan had to take to tweeter to slam the rumor.

Interestingly even mega star Amitabh Bachchan has not been spared from such rubbish rumors. In one of the hoax news Amitabh Bachchan was declared killed in a car crash in the United States. What was most hilarious about the fabricated story was that the story also stated in details about the funeral ceremony!!

It is rightly said, “Technology well used is boon and if misused it becomes nuisance.”
