Well he is none other but the heartthrob of South and Indian film industry’s most iconic actor cum filmmaker Kamal Haassan!
According to reliable sources Gemini Film Circuit, which is a great admirer of Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani's films has purchased the rights of Hirani’s recent super hit film PK, a satirical take on religion.
It may be noted that Gemini Film Circuit, had in the past remade Hiran’s Sanjay Dutt’s hit MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S. as VASOOL RAJA M.B.B.S. with Kamal Hassan in the lead role and Hirani’s Aamir Khan starrer 3 IDIOTS as NANBAN staring South sensation Vijay.
A member from Gemini film circuits confirmed that they have purchased the rights of Bollywood hit PK and plan to make its Tamil version. They have approached Kamal Haassan, however Kamal Hassan is yet to give his nod as he is presently pre occupied with multiple projects like his prestigious 'UTTAMA VILLAN', a Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit 'DRUSHYAM' with Gowthami and giving finishing touches to VISHWAROOPAM sequel.
The member also said since Kamal Hassan is known to select the director of his film, hence he will opt the director of his choice or might even direct it.
