Diabetes is termed as the most deadly
disease. According to a recent study by the International Diabetes Federation,
India is home to more than 65 million people who have diabetes, as compared to
50.8 million in 2010. November 14 was celebrated as World Diabetes Days. Like
the millions of Indian suffering from diabetes, even film celebrities are
victim of diabetes but the only difference they have a will to fight it out and
live life ling size.
Eminent actor Kamal Haasan suffers from type 1
diabetes which affects around 5 percent of Indian population. Kamal, instead of
fearing from the disease has taken his diseases as means to educate others and create
awareness among diabetic patients how to fight the disease.
The young Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who has now
become a star in Bollywood too suffers from diabetes but adopts strict diet and
exercise to control his aliment.
