Vikram Singh since the past two years has been toying to make a movie with his school mate Ranbir Kapoor but regrettably, one thing or the other has been creating obstacles. Readers may recall he had planned a movie MERA JAHAAN in 2009, first with actress Sonam opposite Ranbir Kapoor but when that did not materialize he had roped in Deepika Padukone to cash on the duo’s romance making headlines. But tragically the two parted away thus shattering poor Vikam’s dream movie.

Later in 2013 he began ROY and was supposed to shoot in October in a single schedule and release in June this year but this time again destiny deserted him and Ranbir got busy with Anurag Kashyap, Anurag Basu and Imtiaz Ali and his movie got delayed.

Nevertheless according to film’s producer Bhushan Kumar Ranbir Kapoor has now given multiple dates and the movie shall be completed in one schedule.

Bhushan Kumar said, “We are excited that the film’s schedule has taken off and everything is on track now.” He added, “Jacqueline Fernandez has committed herself for a two month schedule and Ranbir will join the crew in September. The movie will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule of over 50 days in Malaysia. In fact we have even fixed the movie’s release date for the Valentine’s Day weekend in 2015.
