Bollywood actress Preity Zinta stunned her fans and the film fraternity with her heart rendering sorrow account on social network alleging charges of misconduct by none other but her longtime fiancée and business tycoon Ness Wadia! In her agonizing tale Preity Zinta has poignantly appealed the media to support her for a noble cause and not just sensationalize the issue as a ‘hot story’.
In her open letter on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, Preity has written, "I may not be super wealthy and powerful but I have truth by my side and I've worked very hard all my life and tried to earn respect for myself as a self made professional. It saddens me that no one at work or around ever stood up for me in the past when I was abused and insulted publicly. This time I was left with no option but to take this stern step as this incident happened in front of way too many people.”
According to reports Preity Zinta has also lodged a criminal complaint at Mumbai Police station against Ness Wadia into charges of physical abuse and molestation during IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings held at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on May 30.
In her complaint at Marine Drive police station on June 12, Preity Zinta has alleged that her ex-boyfriend and industrialist Wadia misbehaved with her during the IPL match and even abused her using foul language and assassinated her character.
The Marine Drive police have taken a serious note of her complaint and have taken in custody the CCTV footage of the Wankhede stadium, which according to police officials will be closely monitored and can prove to be a crucial turning point in the case.
Meanwhile the Marine Drive police have given three days time frame to Preity Zinta to come and record her statement at the police station in the presence of her lawyer.
