When we usually talk to people for the first time, there is something about them that usually attracts us towards them, their expressions, their body language but most importantly we look at the voice! And if it is singers, we always fall in love with their voice! Here is a brief about one such story whose voice the entire country admires!

Suchitra, started off as a popular RJ with Mirchi FM  for over 6 years and even today she is popularly known as ‘Mirchi Suchi’.  She has also anchored several TV shows and has also dubbed for top actresses like Tamannah, Namitha and Shriya Saran. Suchitra moved on to a career in singing back in 2002 and got her break with music director Harris Jeyaraj for the movie "Leysa Leysa" .The song "Ennai Polave Kattru" which she sang with Chitra garnered attention and there was no looking back.Suchitra is known for her deep husky tone and her ability to sing high notes with ease.

She has several foot tapping numbers with Silambarasan to her credit."Enn Aasai Mythiliye" , "Yammadi Aathadi" , "AlibabaThangam" , "Kutti Pisaase", "Vechikkava" are a few of them.

She has also delivered two amazing hits with singer Karthik- the song “Gore Gore” from the film ‘Moscowin Kaveri- and the song ‘Yaaradu’ from “Kaavalan”  ."Arjuna Arjuna" from the movie Settai last year was another song they worked on together.

Her songs “"Dole Dole" from the movie Pokkiri , "Excuse Me" from  Kanthasamy, “”Sir Osthara” from Businessman went on to become a chart toppers for many weeks. She also sang the songs in Telugu/Tamil dubbed versions.Her solo numbers “Tharai Erangiya” from Eeram and “”Yen Idhayam” from Singam were also well noted.

Her lively voice, her chirpiness in the characters that she dubs for, surely ‘Mirchi Suchi’ is a hit amongst the youngsters!
