In his inimitable, crazy-funny, artistic style, Baba Sehgal returns to acting. Previously seen in Bollywood with the movie 'My Friend Ganesha 3' and a bunch of films in Tollywood, Baba has put on his acting shoes yet again.
Following his crazy fan base of the young generation, Baba now makes an entry on the internet for a web series on Viacom18's brand new digital platform 'Voot'. With the on going trend of the digital entertainment, Baba will be seen playing the lead on an upcoming 6 episodic web series. The webseries will be a spin off of famous reality show - "Roadies".
Since Baba is a die hard fan of "Roadies", he was extremely kicked about being a part of the show which will be called Soadies.
Commenting on the same, Baba said, "I have always enjoyed entertaining my audience through my music as well as acting. May it be Bollywood or Tollywood. It's the first time I will be acting in a web series and the reason I chose to do this one is because the concept was an interesting spin off of Roadies and I have always been a fan of that show. So it seemed like a perfect fit for me. Plus acting has always been a refreshing change and I like exploring that from time to time in between my music. I am totally looking forward to the reaction of my fans and at the same time feels great to work with Viacom18 for their maiden digital venture- Voot"
Sehgal waved the Indian music market with his albums and got immense appreciation as well as popularity in India and abroad, making his web series debut a tough one to wait for.
